Mohammed Aladsani: A Champion’s Journey in Martial Art

Mohammed Aladsani

Martial arts isn’t just a sport. It’s a way of life.

Introducing Mohammed

Meet Mohammed Aladsani, a rising martial artist from Kuwait who trains in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Shidokan Karate. In just three years, Mohammed has carved out a reputation as a passionate and disciplined competitor, proudly representing his country on the international stage.

Under the guidance of elite coaches from The Dojo Martial Arts and Henshall Jiu-Jitsu in the UK, Mohammed blends striking and grappling to master two demanding disciplines, pushing his limits in every training session and every fight. He trains under the guidance of Steven Henshall and Tyreez for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and under Sensai Ismael Dashti, his Shidokan Karate coach, who has been instrumental in shaping his striking game.

How Mohammed Got Into Martial Arts

Mohammed’s journey began with his father, who introduced him to a variety of sports until they discovered Shidokan Karate, a moment that would shape his life forever. This passion soon led to the opening of a dojo, allowing Mohammed to train full-time and dive deeply into martial arts.

His daily routine includes 1–1.5 hour training sessions, six days a week, split between striking for Shidokan and grappling for BJJ. He sharpens his edge through conditioning, drilling, and live sparring, intensifying his training in preparation for tournaments.

Role Models & Inspiration

Mohammed’s greatest mentor and coach is Ismael, who has been by his side throughout his journey in Shidokan Karate and MMA. Under Sensai Ismael’s guidance at The Dojo Martial Arts in Kuwait, Mohammed has developed not only as a competitor but as a martial artist with discipline and focus at his core.

To further sharpen his skills, Mohammed also attends international training camps with Steven and Tyreez in the UK. These camps offer him exposure to elite-level competition and new technical insights, expanding his development across both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Shidokan.

Beyond coaching, Mohammed draws his deepest inspiration from his family, especially his father, who introduced him to martial arts and helped shape the foundation of his journey. The values of perseverance, humility, and resilience remain central to who he is, both on and off the mats.

A Family’s Role in the Journey

Mohammed’s journey wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of his family. His father’s early guidance and investment in opening a dojo made it possible for Mohammed to fully pursue his calling.

That shared dream between a father and son laid the path for an international martial arts journey that continues to inspire others across Kuwait and beyond.
